Dhamma school
Sri Vachissara Dhamma School opened in 1946 with twelve children and now teaches 316 students. The principal is Mr Jayantha Somaratne.
Sermons and meditation
Dhamma sermons and meditation for devotees, supported by the temple's Vipassana Bhavana Samithiya.
Pirith and blessings
Monks can be invited for pirith chanting at homes, new houses, weddings and funerals.
Dana for the Sangha
Families can reserve a day to offer breakfast or the midday meal to the resident monks. The new alms hall opened on 1 January 2025.
Festivals
Vesak, Poson and Kathina ceremonies, with lanterns, pandals and community dansal.
